Organ & tissue · Specialty teams · Medical logistics

The window
doesn't wait.
Neither do we.

Summit Medical Transport is the end-to-end transportation and logistics partner for organs, tissue, medical equipment and specialty surgical teams, emergency and non-emergency, hospital to lab to airport to wherever the case takes us.

Answered live

A dispatcher picks up the phone at 3 a.m. the same way they do at 3 p.m. No queue, no callback window.

Documented custody

Every hand-off is signed, timestamped and logged from the moment the cooler is sealed to the moment it's received.

Tracked end to end

Computer-aided dispatch with vehicle location, so your coordinator knows where the unit is without calling to ask.

What we move

Four lines of service, one dispatch number.

Transplant centers, organ procurement organizations, hospitals, reference labs and surgical groups all call the same desk. Tell us what needs to move and when it needs to be there.

Organ & tissue

Recovery-site to transplant-center runs on the clock that matters. Sealed-cooler custody, direct routing, airport meets for flights in and out, and a driver who understands what is riding in the back.

  • OPO and transplant center support
  • Airport tarmac and FBO meets
  • Sealed chain-of-custody documentation

Specialty teams

Surgical recovery teams, perfusionists and clinical staff moved between facilities and airports as a unit, with their equipment, on a schedule built around the case.

  • Recovery and procurement teams
  • Crew plus equipment in one vehicle
  • Standby and wait time available

Equipment & supplies

Instrument trays, loaner sets, implants, lab specimens, pharmacy and consumables between hospitals, labs, warehouses and surgery centers. Scheduled routes or same-day on demand.

  • STAT and scheduled lab courier
  • Loaner trays and implant sets
  • Recurring inter-facility routes

Emergency response

Lights-and-sirens response when the case can't absorb traffic. Emergency and non-emergency transport to and from hospitals, labs, airports, or wherever else the call sends us.

  • Emergency and non-emergency runs
  • Inter-facility and airport transfers
  • Priority routing on time-critical cargo

How a transport runs

One call, five checkpoints, a signature at the end.

  1. 01

    Call comes in

A dispatcher takes the origin, destination, cargo and hard deadline, then confirms whether the run is emergent.

  2. 02

    Trip number issued

You get a confirmation number before the unit rolls. It is the reference for every update, document and invoice that follows.

  3. 03

    Custody taken

Cargo is inspected, sealed where required, and signed for at pickup. The seal number goes on the record with the timestamp.

  4. 04

    Unit tracked

Computer-aided dispatch follows the vehicle in real time. Status changes push to your coordinator by text or email.

  5. 05

    Delivered and signed

Receiving staff sign at hand-off. The completed record closes out under the same trip number.

The fleet

Built for the run, staffed for the case.

Our vehicles are configured for medical cargo rather than parcels: secured cooler space, seating for a recovery team and their equipment, and emergency lighting on the units that need it.

Every vehicle carries vehicle-location hardware feeding the same dispatch board your trip number is tracked on. Drivers are screened, credentialed and trained on the handling requirements for what they are carrying.

About Summit

A logistics company that knows what's in the cooler.

Summit Medical Transport Inc. was built around a gap that anyone who has coordinated a recovery has run into: general couriers do not understand medical cargo, and ambulance services are not set up to move equipment and teams. The work needs a carrier that does both, answers at any hour, and can prove where the cargo has been.

That is the whole company. Emergency and non-emergency transport for organs, tissue, equipment and clinical teams — dispatched by people who treat a viability window as a hard constraint, not a delivery estimate.

We are building toward full computer-aided dispatch with advanced vehicle location, an app for booking and tracking, and an emergency medical services division. The standard we hold now is the one we intend to scale.
